City of Hyderabad witnessed a surge in Covid-19 cases with 869 positive cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases from the State’s capital now is 12,541.
Telangana reported 945 new Covid-19 positive cases including 869 cases from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), and seven fatalities on Tuesday. The new cases on Tuesday pushed the overall number of positive cases to 16,339 while fatalities increased to 260.
Hyderabad witnessed a surge in Covid-19 cases with 869 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative number of positive cases from the State’s capital to 12,541.
1,712 patients were discharged from hospitals post recovery on Tuesday which took the number of recovered and discharged cases in the State to 7,294. The count of active patients is 8,785 in Telangana, according to daily health bulletin.
Out of the 945 positive cases, 869 persons from Hyderabad tested positive while 29 were from Rangareddy,13 from Medchal, 21 from Sangareddy, two from Karimnagar, four from Nirmal, two from Mahabubnagar, one positive case each from Khammam, Siddipet, Vikarabad and Nizamabad were also reported on Tuesday.
