Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Jalandhar, Punjab

Rahul Gandhi resumed Bharat Jodo Yatra from Jalandhar, Punjab today morning. The march start from Adampur and reach Hoshiarpur by evening.

Bharat Jodo yatra started from the Kala Bakra area in Jalandhar. Many Congress leaders, including state party chief Amrinder Singh, Raja Warring joined Rahul Gandhi in the march. 

According to sources, the yatra was suspended for 24 hours due to the sudden demise of the Lok Sabha MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary on Saturday morning. The Santokh Singh Chaudhary had suffered a cardiac arrest during the yatra. He was cremated at his native Dhaliwal village in Jalandhar on Sunday. 

Bharat Jodo yatra resumed on Sunday afternoon in Jalandhar and later Balkaur Singh, father of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala joined Rahul Gandhi.

Today in Jalandhar, famous Punjabi singer and Congress leader, Late. Sidhu Moosewala father, Balkaur Singh ji attended the yatra. I saw amazing courage and patience in him. There is pride in his eyes for his son, and immense love in his heart. I salute such a father!
