The Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi resumed the march from Patur in  Akola district of Maharashtra.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, a mass contact initiative of the Congress, entered Maharashtra on November 7 in Nanded district, it has so far covered Hingoli & Washim districts of the state. The foot march will cover Akola and Buldhana districts of Maharashtra before proceeding to Madhya Pradesh on November 20.

A familiar pattern is emerging one week into Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra through Maharashtra. The Congress party attempts to overcome internal problems of infighting and inactivity, civil society groups and people reach out to the platform to connect with the party itself.
