Bharat Jodo Yatra enters Madhya Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi to join the march

On Tuesday, Kamal Nath said Congress General Secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her family would take part in the foot march for the first time.

The Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra led by MP Rahul Gandhi enters Boderli village in Burhanpur district in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning. Priyanka Gandhi is likely to join Rahul Gandhi’s padayatra in Madhya Pradesh.

On Tuesday, Kamal Nath said Congress General Secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her family would take part in the foot march for the first time.

A large number of Congressmen holding the tricolour in their hands reached Boderli to join the foot march.

The yatra flag was handed over to Madhya Pradesh party chief Kamal Nath to formally launch the 12-day long yatra in the central state. The yatra of Madhya Pradesh will cover a distance of 380 km before entering to Rajasthan.

Senior Congress leaders including former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh, Leader of Opposition in the MP Assembly Govind Singh, former Union Ministers Suresh Pachouri and Arun Yadav were among the others who were present on the occasion.
