Husband murdered his wife, chopped off the body into pieces, and dumped them in a water tank in his house in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district.
According to DNA, Pavan Thakur, the accused, allegedly killed his wife Sati Sahu on suspicions of infidelity. On a tip off from the neighbours, the Sakri police searched the house of the accused. They were shocked to recover the mutilated and decomposed body of a woman from a water tank on Sunday night. The house belonged to Pavan Thkur.
Apparently, the husband murdered wife at least 1-2 months ago. However, the deceased woman was identified as Sati Sahu. This murder came to light when some neighbours of Thakur complained about a foul smell emanating from his house. Police have sent the body for autopsy and detained Thakur.
