Coronavirus Updates: As India is witnessing a rise in the number of new coronavirus cases being recorded every day. There were 9,987 new Covid cases take tally to 2.66 lakh in India, 7,466 dead till Monday.
WHO has warned that although the Covid numbers are falling in Europe, they are only rising in south Asia, Africa and across the world.
WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that about 75% of the new coronavirus cases reported on Sunday came from 10 countries in the Americas and South Asia, including India.
