PM Narendra Modi guaranteed on Wednesday that India will be among the top three economies in the world during his third term.  But the question here arises, will Modi be the PM after the 2024 elections?

Narendra Modi is 72 years old now and will soon turn 73 in September 2003. He will turn 74 in 2024. Most likely, the elections may take place in May 2024. Undoubtedly, the Bharatiya Janata Party will contest the election with Narendra Modi as its main candidate.

Earlier, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, he sidelined many senior politicians from the BJP. The reason behind it echoed that Modi didn’t want any leader above 75 years.

Senior leaders like Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, etc were sidelined. Meanwhile, considering his actions towards the other BJP leaders, it would be appropriate for him to retire at 75. The real crux is then who will be the next Prime Minister.

On the contrary, seeing him as active, fit, and healthy, people say Modi will not resign after winning the 2024 elections. Moreover, he is always in competition with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whom he admires. Hence, people feel that he aspires to be the Prime Minister for three terms, similar to Nehru.
