BJP MLA’s son allegedly shot Tribal youth in Singrauli, MP

The accused, Vivek Vaish got into a verbal argument with the victim, Surya Prakash Khairbar, and all of a sudden he pulled out his revolver and opened fire on him.

On Thursday, a tribal youth was allegedly shot at by the son of a BJP MLA from Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. Vivek Vaish, the son of MLA Ramlallu Vaish, is accused of opening fire at the youth and severely injuring him, and then fleeing from the spot. 

The incident took place in Morba of Singrauli district on Thursday. The accused, Vivek Vaish got into a verbal argument with the victim, Surya Prakash Khairbar, and all of a sudden he pulled out his revolver and opened fire on him. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Police said the accused has been booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of IPC and 25/27 (Arms Act).
