In a viral video, a woman MLA from the Thane district of Maharashtra reportedly slaps a civil engineer in public. The video is now going viral all over social media.
The video shows Mira Bhayandar MLA Geeta Jain criticising two Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation civil engineers for razing some structures, causing occupants, including children, to remain on roadways ahead of the monsoon.
According to NDTV reports, Jain questioned how the engineers could raze structures and demanded a Government Resolution (GR).
Ms Geeta Jain, a former BJP mayor, was elected as an Independent in 2019.
She supports the BJP-Shiv Sena government.
