Two teenage sisters were found hanging from a tree in a sugarcane field in Lalpur Majra Tomoli Purva village. According to the police, 6 men were arrested for rape and murder.  However, the investigation is still underway.

Two teenage sisters of ages 17 and 15 were found hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri. Six men who were arrested are Suhail, Junaid, Hafizul, Rehman, Karimuddin and Arif. Moreover, another man Chotu, who introduced the girls to these men has also been arrested.

According to the police, thrills were taken to a sugarcane field and raped by Suhail and Junaid. After that, the girls insisted that the boys marry them. Hence the men strangled them with their dupatta. Later on Karimuddin and Arif came to the spot and helped them in the cover-up. They hung the bodies from the tree to make it look like suicide.

Contrary to this, the mother of the two girls alleges that the two girls were abducted by three boys from their house. They forcefully took the girls away, even when the mother was protesting.

Three hours after they were abducted, the girls were found hanging from a tree. In the process of investigation, when the police reached the village to take the bodies of two girls, the angry villagers protested.

This incident reminds everyone of the incident of Badaun of 2014, where two cousins were killed in the same manner.
