Shinzo Abe, Japan Ex PM was shot at 11.30 am today. He was campaigning in the city of Nara. However, the suspected shooter was nabbed within few minutes.

Suspect in Japan Ex PM Shot
According to the NDTV reports, the shooter is identified as Tetsuya Yamagami. It is found that he is a local man. Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, is suspected to be a former military man. It is observed that he was standing behind the former PM. He fired Shinzo from just 10 feet away.
Consequently, Shinzo Abe collapsed on stage in the middle of his speech. Very soon, Yamagami was pushed to the ground by the security. Furthermore, it is reported that the shooter used a shotgun and is charged with attempted murder.
The local media reported, “Japan Ex PM Shinzo Abe was shot at around 11:30 am in Nara. One man, believed to be the shooter, has been taken into custody. The condition of former prime minister Abe is currently unknown,” chief cabinet secretary Hirokazu Matsuno told reporters.
