According to NDTV, there was a mass shooting in one of the wealthy Chicago suburbs, during the Independence Day parade. Consequently, this incident left six dead and many injured. However, the Police have arrested a suspect on Monday.

Independence Day is the most patriotic holiday and is celebrated with parades, barbeques, sports events and firework displays.

Prime Suspect in Chicago Shooting

Robert Crimo, 22 was identified as the suspect who targeted a family focused July 4 parade celebration. It is alleged that the suspect shot from a rooftop. He used a high-powered rifle.

Supposedly, he fired into the holiday crowd, which turned the celebrations into a scene of death and trauma. According to the emergency officials, around two dozens people, including children were treated for gunshot injuries, and some of them in critical condition.

The North Chicago Police arrested the suspect involved in this shooting stated by Detectives’ Endowment Association in their twitter handle.
