The Lok Sabha MP from Amravati, Navneet Rana demanded strict action against Mumbai police commissioner Sanjay Pandey. Moreover, she claimed that the action taken by the police commissioner against her and her husband was illegal.
She wrote a letter to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla saying her arrest by Mumbai cops was illegal and alleging “inhuman treatment” in police custody. In addition to this, Navneet alleged that the police took against the couple on the directions of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Consequently, the Police Commissioner shared a video of MP Navneet Rana and her husband after her allegations about “inhumane treatment” meted out at Mumbai’s Khar police station.
