Hardik Patel sent his resignation today and finally quit the congress party officially today. He was unhappy with the party and the way they worked. He tried to contact the top-most cadre many a times, but was never given an opportunity to meet the leaders.

Earlier, he was invited into the party by Rahul Gandhi in 2019. However, in his resignation letter he said the party is more worried about ‘chicken sandwiches and distracted by their phone messages’. This comment is a dig to the party leader Rahul Gandhi.

According to NDTV, Hardik Patel, has been in touch with the BJP leaders since two months. Initially, the party was disinterested in allowing him into BJP. However, the BJP has given him the nod.

Patidar leader’s community resignation comes as a surprise to the party. Of late they are   striving to revive the party for the forth coming elections.

Weeks ago, Rajiv Gandhi went to Gujarat, but did not meet Hardik Patel. This triggered the disgruntled leader.  “When I met top leaders, they seemed distracted by their mobile phones and other issues as opposed to listening to issues concerning Gujarat.”

Furthermore, the discontented leader wrote n his letter, “Senior leaders in Gujarat are more interested in ensuring that visiting leaders get their chicken sandwiches than engaging with people during yatras”.

“Our leader was abroad when he was needed in India during critical times.” Hardik Patel  criticized the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
