Rahul Gandhi questions Modi on Adani report, demands JPC probe

On Thursday, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi arrived in Mumbai to attend the 2-day INDIA alliance meeting. During the press conference, Rahul Gandhi expressed his concern about the role of Vinod Adani and why foreign investors have invested in Indian companies.

The opposition INDIA alliance holds their third strategy meeting to take down the ruling BJP party in the coming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Rahul Gandhi addressed the media at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. He will visit Tilak Bhavan, the party headquarters, on Friday.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, targeted the Adani group and asked few pertinent questions. He said, “There are serious questions raised here. First, who’s money is this? Is it Adani or someone else’s? There are two foreign nationals along with Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod are involved in this.”

“Second question is, why these two foreign nationals being allowed to play with India’s infrastructure?” Rahul Gandhi asked questioned.

Rahul Gandhi raised concerns regarding the Adani group over OCCRP report, and also questioned the role of Vinod Adani.

He demanded an investigation by the Joint Parliamentary Committee and wanted the Prime Minister to respond to the questions raised.
