As Karnataka is a BJP-ruled stated, the yatra has become important. It is an important opportunity for the former Chief Minister and DK Shivakumar to prove their efficiency to their leader. Apparently, the state Congress constituted 18 committees to manage the yatra. Moreover, the Congress state president DK Shivakumar also asked all party MLAs to mobilise 5,000 people from each constituency for the yatra.
