A 35-year-old man from Modinagar, UP was arrested for killing a PhD scholar. He had been his tenant on October 6. Umesh Sharma was killed with a towel and then used a timber saw to cuts Ankit’s (40) body into four pieces.
After cutting his body into four pieces, he dispersed them into the Ganga canal, Muzaffarnagar in Ghaziabad. And near a forest area on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Dasna.
Umesh Sharma allegedly killed him after discovering that he was in ownership of a large sum of money. Pravesh Sharma who was his associate, has also been arrested in connection with the crime.
According to their friends complaint, the police took the matter seriously. Many teams were dispatched, and a FIR was filed in connection with the disappearance. The house owner was initially suspected. When he was arrested and interrogated, he has accepted to have done the crime.
