Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) announced his National party today by renaming his Telangana Rashtra Samithi as the “Bharat Rashtra Samithi”. For months, KCR has been positioning himself as a national player and touring states to meet anti-BJP leaders.
He has been unhappy with the Modi-led BJP rule in the centre. All through these years, he has been fighting against the Modi government.
According to NDTV, Rao launched the party at a conclave of Telangana Rashtra Samithi ministers, members of Parliament, state legislators and district-level co-ordinators. Mr.Rao held a meeting with his Cabinet colleagues and the party’s district presidents, during which they discussed a roadmap for the national party.
