Jubilee Hills Gang Rape case: All Minors get bail, no relief for only major

All four accused, including the son of a legislator, were detained in the juvenile home since June first week.

All the minors in the Jubilee hills gang rape case were granted bail yesterday. The four accused, including the legislator’s son were released from a juvenile home, where they were detained.

According to NDTV, all the four minors accused in the Jubilee Hills gang rape case were granted bail yesterday by the Juvenile Justice board. This case had set an outrage and political clashes in Telangana.

All four accused, including the son of a legislator, were detained in the juvenile home since June first week.

The fifth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate cum Juvenile Justice Board on Tuesday, issued the bail orders. However, another juvenile will still remain detained as he is not issued bail order yet. According to the officials, this minor had approached the Telangana High court for bail.

On the contrary, the only major accused in the case, Saduddin Mallik, is in the Chanchalguda jail.

Jubilee Hills Gang Rape Case

These six young boys were arrested in the case of gang rape of a 17-year-old-girl. It is alleged that the girl was gang-raped by five young men when she was returning home from a pub in the Jubilee Hills area on May 28.

The boys offered to drop the girl home. However, the girl was taken to a pastry and coffee shop nearby and changed into an Innova. The girl alleged that she was assaulted inside a parked car after travelling for a while. Furthermore, she added that the boys took turns to rape her, when others were guarding outside the car.
