Bajrang Dal leader Raj Kumar, commonly known as Bittu Bajrangi, was arrested by Haryana police in connection with Nuh violence. The police arrested BittuBajrangi from his Faridabad house.
Self-proclaimed cow vigilante and Bajrang Dal member Bittu Bajrangi, is based out of Faridabad. The police arrested him on Tuesday (August 15) in connection with the communal violence in Nuh, Haryana.
According to CCTV footage, nearly 10-12 Nuh police team in civil dress chased Bajrangi from his home in Faridabad’s Dabua. He attempted to escape. However, the team caught him and arrested Bittu Bajrangi.
Police registered an FIR against him and 15-20 others at Nuh’s Sadar police station. Based on a complaint filed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Usha Kundu. Bajrangi and unidentified supporters are booked under Sections 148, 149, 332, 353, 186, 395, 397, and 506 of IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act.
Police said Bajrangi, the President of an outfit called the Goraksha Bajrang Force, was initially detained by a Crime Investigation Agency team of Tauru from Faridabad. And later taken for questioning. He will be produced in a city court on Wednesday.
