The Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, resumes on Friday from Kherli Lala in Sohna on the third and last day of the first phase in Haryana. It will enter Delhi tomorrow.
The first phase of the yatra in Haryana ends today. In the second phase, the yatra will re-enter Haryana from Uttar Pradesh at Sanoli Khurd in Panipat district on January 6.
Many people were seen joining the yatra holding banners and party flags. The ongoing foot march of Congress had entered Haryana on Wednesday. Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach the National capital on December 24.
According to the sources, veteran actor Kamal Haasan and DMK MP Kanimozhi along with other MPs from the opposition are likely to join Rahul Gandhi in the yatra in Delhi.
The Delhi Police on Thursday said a traffic advisory in connection with the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be issued once its route is finalized, reported PTI.
