The second wave of coronavirus is so drastic and rapid that it is failing the country in the global front. Who should be blamed for this failure?

First Patient of Coronavirus

Let’s see the chronology of the failure. The first patient of the corona virus was found in January 2020. Instead of finding a solution, the government was busy arranging meetings and gatherings for the visiting US President, Donald Trump. More than one lakh people gathered to welcome President Donald  Trump.

Lockdown

When the Modi led government understood its mistakes, it imposed unprecedented Lockdown. This troubled thousands of migrant workers. They started walking back to their native places. Their woes were never ending.

Need of Oxygen

Many people lost their lives in the first wave. The supply and demand of  oxygen cylinders and plant was anticipated. The government pronounced that it will start many oxygen plants across the country. As usual, they were just for the records on the paper. Such important projects were neglected by the government.

Farmers agitation

Meanwhile, the farmers started opposing the three farm laws introduced by the Modi led government. the Prime Minister of the country adamantly ignored the gathering and agitations. He should have solved the problem amicably, instead he ignored them and they are still protesting from last 6 months.

Any responsible administrator would never have this continue. As they are 100% chances of the spread of Corona virus. He has not done anything regarding farm laws till date.

One Year

The medical fraternity tried its level best to make the people understand the COVID-19 norms at the stake of their lives. Unfortunately, the Prime Minister of this country was taking part in huge rallies and election campaigns. He did not take any steps to strengthen the health system of India during an entire year.

Rallies

The Prime Minister could see that people were running from pillar to post for oxygen and medicines. Crematoriums were filled with dead bodies, still he did not hesitate to stop the rallies and huge gatherings.

Kumbh Mela

Hospitals ran out of oxygen, beds, medicines due to the second wave. People thronged to the banks of Ganga river for the Kumbh Mela. Neither did the Prime Minister speak a word nor did he issue orders regarding the Covid-19 norms. However the authorities, including the Chief Minister, Tirat Singh Ravat , misled the people about the dangers of second wave of coronavirus.

Instead, the Prime Minister himself organized rallies and huge gatherings without any hesitation. The rules or wearing masks and social distancing ran into the drains in front of him.

Election Commission

The situation worsened across the country. When the Election Commission of India banned huge gatherings and rallies. Very soon, the Communist Party declared that it will not organize any rallies further. Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee  declared the same. Sadly, the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, Amit Shah did not do the same.

People in India Vs Second Wave of Coronavirus

Many of them blame the people of India. Certainly, but those who blame them should also remember that most of the people in India are below the poverty line. They need to work everyday to be alive. Lack of educations plays an important role.

‘As the King, so are the people’, as the saying goes, proves who should be blamed. Choice is yours!
