On Sunday, eight Visually-impaired girls walked the ramp walk at Rajkot in a fashion show organised by the Institute of Fashion and Jewellery Design (IFJD).
These girls proved that “seeing is not always believing”, as they sweep the runway in style and received an applause from the audience.
To complete their vintage western look, they wore beautiful colourful gowns, lace-headwear and light makeup. According to participants, the girls practised their walk for about 15 to 20 days before the show.
“I was delighted to take part in the fashion show. We practised for about 15-20 days. Team members from the Institute of Fashion and Jewellery Design helped us to practise and thoroughly taught us everything. We sincerely appreciate everything they’ve done”, said of the participant.
