Veteran TV Journalist Mr. Vinod Dua passed away at a Private Hospital in Delhi. He was 67. His daughter Mallika Dua confirmed the news in a Social Media Port. Reportedly, his health had been deteriorating rapidly since April. He was moved to ICU of Apollo Hospital on the advice of doctors.
Mr. Dua worked with Doordarshan and NDTV. He is the first TV Journalist to receive the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award in the Year 1996.
Vinod Dua and his wife were hospitalized in Gurgaon during the second wave of Covid-19. However, the family lost her the. Fortunately, Vinod Dua survived the virus attack, but was heart-broken to lose his light of his life. Since then he could not come to terms about her death.
However, they were reports that he would soon be joining work. But tthe journalist’s health deteriorated so much that he had to visit hospitals ever since the Covid attack. Moreover,he is critical now and admitted in the hospital. He’s battling for life now.
He is survived by two daughters Bakul Dua, a clinical psychologist and Mallika Dua, a actor and comedian.
