Telangana: Asia’s largest 2BHK Dignity Housing project built at Kollur

The Telangana State Government has launched Asia’s largest dignity housing complex of 15,660 2BHK built-in Kollur Village, Sangareddy District, Ramachandrapuram Mandal. CM KCR inaugurated the 2BHK dignity housing project named as KCR Nagar at Kollur.

Municipal and Urban Development minister K Taraka Ramarao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Sabitha Indra Reddy and others participated in the inauguration ceremony.

According to news reports, this is the largest housing project in the country. The state government distributes free houses to the beneficiaries without collecting any money.

The construction of 15,660 houses in one place accommodates about 60,000 people. The government has built the house with good infrastructure on par with corporate style at the cost of Rs.1,489.29 crores with 15,660 2BHK Units, 560 SFT Unit Size, 145 Acres of total Area, 117 Blocks & 234 Elevators. All common amenities, including a 9MLD STP Community Requirements such as Schools, Hospitals accommodated.

KTR tweeted that Dare to Dream, Then Decide to Do is CM KCR’s mantra; with that slogan, he has taken up the construction of double bedroom houses.
