On Monday, a GHMC sanitation women worker allegedly died in a road accident after a private bus hit her in the Ramkoti area, Hyderabad. The incident was recorded on nearby CCTV and is now viral all over social media.
According to the news reports, the deceased was identified as D.Sunitha, a Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) worker. The bus belongs to the Ayan Institute of Medical Science.
The CCTV footage shows the woman sweeping the pavement before a speeding bus hit her and rammed into a tree. The incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. The negligence and rash driving by the bus driver was the leading cause of this tragic incident.
The woman suffered seriously and was rushed to the nearby Osmania General Hospital, where she was declared dead.
Police have registered a complaint against the bus driver, and an investigation is ongoing.
