Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother, Heeraben Modi, died today, December 30, at a hospital in Ahmedabad. Heeraben Modi was cremated in Gandhinagar after passing away early this morning.
Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat early in the morning, carried out the last rites. Heeraben Modi was 99 years old.
Heeraben Modi died on December 30, 2022, at 3:39 a.m. (early morning, during treatment at UN Mehta Heart Hospital,” which she had been admitted since Wednesday.
PM Modi, who was supposed to launch development projects in West Bengal, could attend the events via video conferencing.
