On Thursday, four culprits were allegedly arrested after a horrific viral video of women being paraded naked in Manipur.
According to the press note released, the Manipur state police are making all efforts to arrest the other culprits at the earliest.
As per the government sources, the main culprit, who was wearing a green t-shirt and was seen holding the woman, was arrested in an operation on Thursday morning following proper identification. Huirem Herodas Meitei (32 years old) of Pechi Awang Leikai
The state police and central force are continuing their search operations in all vulnerable and fringy areas of both valley and hill districts. Furthermore, it added that 129 Nakhas were installed and had detained 657 persons in connection with the case.
