Karnataka High Court dismisses all the written petitions filed by muslim girls against the Hijab ban in the colleges. However, court said the uniform is the right restriction.
In lieu of the judgment give, the state government banned three big gatherings, to maintain law and order in the state. Moreover, the Udupi district administration declared a holiday to all schools and colleges today.
Karnataka HC dismissed the petitions saying, ‘Hijab is not an essential religious practice’.
