A viral video which is doing rounds in the social media in which a Karnataka farmer is arguing in a car showroom. He returned to the showroom with an amount of Rs. 10 lakh within half an hour.
Earlier, the farmer came to a Mahindra showroom to buy a Bolero Carrier with his 7 friends and his uncle.
Unfortunately, the salesmen in the car showroom in Tumkuru turned him away by taunted him. “you probably don’t even have Rs. 10 in your pocket, but came to buy a 10 lakh car.”
This incident happened on January 21. The farmer said that he was also mocked over his appearance.
The farmer named Kempegowda had an heated argument with the salesman. Immediately, he challenged the salesman to deliver the SUV on the same day if he brought the money within an hour. The salesmen agreed to it.
Dramatically, Kempegowda left immediately and returned with Rs.10 lakh in cash within an hour. However, the salesmen could not make an instant delivery.
According to local media reports, the showroom salesman and other personnel later apologized to Kempegowda after the widespread of the news of the event.
Hundreds of people tagged Anand Mahindra asking for action against the showroom staff. For which he responded quickly.
