Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister said,

“there is no place in Canada for this behaviour. So, to those responsible; It needs to stop. And to those who joined the convoy but are uncomfortable with the symbols of hatred and division on display: be courageous and speak out. Do not stand for, or with, intolerance and hate”.

Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister left Ottawa along with his family to a secured location. He was tested COVID positive. He had to leave after security concerns sparked near his official residence. The people in Ottawa intensified their protests regarding anti-vaccine mandate.

According to the CBC News, the Prime Minister had to vacate his official residence as a warning was issued by the Canadian Parliament’s Seargent-at-Arms. It was said that the demonstrators could show up at official residence.

However, the PM’s office refused to reveal the location of Trudeau, due to security reasons.

Dozens of trucks and other vehicles jammed Central Ottawa since Friday. The supply of essentials to Ottawa were barred because of the protest. The truckers honked continuously to protest against mandatory vaccination.

The protests were launched against the vaccine mandate after the government launched made it mandatory that truckers entering Canada must be fully immunized by January 15. A similar mandate was imposed on truckers by the US.

However, the Canadian opposition supported the protesters. They said that the vaccine mandate has created problems for the supply of essentials in the country.
