Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Friday laid a foundation stone for Hyderabad Airport Express Metro.
It is estimated to be Rs.6250 crores and will provide connectivity between Mindspace junction and Hyderabad Airport at Shamshabad. It will cover the distance of 31 kms in just 26 minutes.
This Hyderabad Express Metro project is being built solely by the Telangana Government with state government’s own funds at a construction cost of 6,250 crores.
According to Telangana Today, Hyderabad Metro Rail HAML Managing Director NVS Reddy, Managing Director here on Thursday, Reddy said the Airport Express Metro Corridor will be 31 km long and taking off from Raidurg metro terminal station, it will pass through the Biodiversity Junction, Khajaguda road to Nanakramguda junction on to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) till the RGIA at Shamshabad.
