Hemkunt Foundation is requesting for urgent help as their O2 Centre was forcefully destroyed and belonging were damaged.

NGO’s have come forward to help the people of India during the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Especially, NGO’s are working day and night to help the needy during the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

When there was a dire need of oxygen and the government of India was helpless, Hemkunt Foundation helped the people. Surprisingly, Hemkunt Foundation posted a video on Twitter today. This video showed the damage done to the oxygen center by local goons.

In a video, The Community Development director at Hemkunt foundation, Harteerath Singh said “Some nasty group people and local goons have forcefully asked us to vacate our space where we have our patients. They have torn down our tents, our banners and boards are broken and there is a lot of damage that has been done”.

Consequently, the NGO made an urgent appeal that they would need access to 20,000 sq.ft land at or near the City Centre of Gurgaon.

However, Sanjeev Gupta, Secretary of the Inter State Council Secretariat, Home Ministry, Government of India, reacted to this and said “It is an absolutely abhorrent act”

Checked with the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram. The land is private. It was a dispute regarding its continues possession. Still this is no way of treating people who served humanity in adversity. DC will help them in getting another land. Attackers be punished” Saying this he tagged the account of the Chief Minister of Haryana.
