‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has turned into a controversy by the Hindu leader Yati Narsinhganand.
Har Ghar Tiranga is a prestigious campaign planned by the Modi led BJP government. It is implemented under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence. This campaign aims to encourage people to hoist the national flag in everyone’s home.
The idea of the campaign is to arouse the feelings of patriotism in the hearts of the people.
On the contrary, many controversies have come up after the campaign. The most significant controversy is by Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati. The Hindu leader is a 58-year-old head of the powerful Dasna Devi temple in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). Furthermore, he is one of the several right-wing Hindu leaders who speak openly and call for violence against minorities.
However, Mr. Narsinghanand is no stranger to controversy. This time his controversy is on minorities which includes the right wing leaders too.
In the video below , Yati Narsinghanand calls for all the people of India to boycott the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The Hindu leader alleges that the contract of the flags went to a business man, who belongs to a minority. Moreover, he wants every Indian to stop buying flags so that it will cause economic deficiency to the minorities.
ये नफ़रती खुलेआम @narendramodi के #HarGharTiranga अपील को चुनौती दे रहा है। कह रहा है कि तिंरगे ने ही बर्बाद कर दिया है। तिरंगे का बहिष्कार करो।
