Former AP CM Kiran Kumar Reddy slams Congress after joining BJP

Kiran Kumar Reddy, the former Andhra Pradesh CM slams Congress party after joining Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) on Friday. Now the news is going viral all over the internet and media.

According to Scroll, he is the second Congressman to join Bharatiya Janatha Party in this week. On March 12, Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned from Congress, citing differences with the party’s leadership.

Kiran Kumar Reddy slams Congress party

During the press meet, Reddy said that he never imagined leaving the Congress. He blamed the party’s top leadership for the party’s performance in state elections.

“Congress does not communicate with the people, and they do not listen to the leaders’ viewpoints,” he stated. “…The unfortunate aspect is that they are unwilling to make any course corrections.” Whenever an error is made, it should be recognised and attempts should be taken to remedy it. In Congress, there is no such thing.”

Also on the other hand BJP has taken bold decisions in the interest of the nation. “I am motivated by the vision and commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added.

Brief on Kiran Kumar Reddy

Kiran Kumar Reddy is the final Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh before the state was divided and Telangana was formed in 2014. Soon after the bifurcation, Reddy launched Jai Samikyaandra Party.

He launched a party in response to the Indian government’s decision to split Andhra Pradesh through the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill.
