“I am a Fan of Modi”, says Elon Musk after meeting PM Modi

On Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi, who is on a 3-day visit to the US, met Twitter owner Elon Musk in New York. During the meeting, Elon Musk called himself a “Fan of Modi” and announced that Tesla would invest in India.

Elon Musk also said he is planning to visit India next year, and we will do so as soon as possible. 

Elon Musk, during an interaction with the media, said, “It was a fantastic meeting with the Prime Minister, and I like him quite a lot. He visited our factory a few years ago. So, we have known each other for a while,” Musk said. “I am incredibly excited about the future of India. I think India has more promise than any large country in the world.”

Responding to media questions regarding Dorsey’s claims on the Indian government, he said, ‘Twitter has no option but to follow the local laws, or I will get shut down’.

Furthermore, he added, “The best we can do is to follow the laws in any given country.”

Different forms of government have different rules and regulations, and Musk stated that “we will do our best to provide the freest speech that is possible under the law.”

Fan of Modi – Elon Musk:

Twitter and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, after meeting PM Modi in New York, says, “I am planning to visit India next year. I am confident that Tesla will be in India, and we will do so as soon as humanly possible. I would like to thank PM Modi for his support, and hopefully, we will be able to announce something in the future. It is quite likely there will be a significant investment in India. It was an excellent conversation with the Prime Minister,”
