“BJP MLA Raja Singh arrested for his alleged derogatory comments against Prophet Muhammad. According to ANI, and DCP south Zone, protests erupted last night at the South Zone DCP office. The protesters demanded action against him.
According to NDTV, BJP MLA T. Raja Singh allegedly uploaded a video on his Facebook page which consisted of derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed and the community. Moreover, the Goshamahal legislator also mocked standup comedian Munawar Faruqui.

Very soon, people started gathering at different police stations in the city and started to protest. Subsequently, a case was booked against Raja Singh at the Dabeerpura police station and was arrested.
Eventually, as the news spread across the city, the protesters reportedly said Mr. Singh hurt the sentiments of the community and demanded his immediate arrest. However, the protesters were taken into custody and soon shifted to various police stations.
The officials had to rush to their offices to supervise the security arrangements and force deployment.
