NDTV journalist called him several times, as she found his number on the BJP web page. But he never answered any calls. She went to his house too. However, the journalist, found out his jewellery store and questioned him. He did not reply to any of her questions. However, he did not deny that he was not a BJP member.
Sardar Singh Patel is also a member of BJP. His details were found in the BJP office of Godhra.
