Bihar: Thieves steal mobile tower in Patna, Worth Rs.19 lakhs

Patna: Thieves acting as mobile company officials steal a mobile tower worth more than Rs.19 lakh in Bihar. The incident came into light on Saturday when the company officials reached the spot to check the malfunctioning of the mobile tower.

It took two days for the thieves to dismantle the tower, load the parts and to leave the spot. The incident took place Patna’s Yapur Rajputana area, under the jurisdiction of the Gardanibagh police station.

According to the media reports, the owner of the land said the thieves introduced themselves as the company officials and told him that the agreement was finished. The thieves also informed him on dismantling and taking the tower with them.

The Company’s officials registered a complaint against the thieves at Gardanibagh police station. As per the complaint registered, it is stated that around 25 people are involved in this case. They came up with armed tools, gas cutters and other equipment. A detailed investigation is going on regarding this bizarre incident.
