Economics graduate fails to get a job, turns ‘chaiwaali’

Priyanka Gupta a young economics graduate has set up a tea shop named Chaiwaali and sells a variety of tea. A cup of tea ranges from Rs.15 to Rs.20. She sells tea starting from Kulhad chai to paan chai.

Priyanka Gupta, an economics graduate could not get a job for two years after her graduation. Hence, she set up a tea stall near a women’s college in Bihar’s capital Patna. to set up the Tea stall she borrowed Rs. 30,000 from a friend.

Priyanka Gupta, completed her graduation in 2019. She started searching for new avenues. According to NDTV, she said, she was inspired to open the tea stall after hearing the story of Prafull Billore, famously known as “MBA Chaiwala”.

Priyanka sells four types of tea. She sells Kulhad chai, masala chai, paan chai and Chocolate chai. A cup of tea ranges from Rs15 to Rs 20. She also offers cookies for Rs. 10.

She told news agency ANI, “There are many chaiwallas, why can’t there be a chaiwali? She also shared pics on Twitter.
