On Tuesday morning, a 26-year-old pharma firm employee died when the bike he was riding was hit by a private company bus at Kolthur in Shamirpet, Hyderabad
The bus dragged the bike for some distance before catching fire and destroying both vehicles. The bus reportedly belonged to a pharma company.
According to Sisaat Dialy, the bike caught fire after petrol poured from its tanker as a result of the incident, according to authorities. The flames from the bike engulfed the four-wheeler, which had gone beneath the wheels of the bus. People on the bus got down immediately averting a huge disaster.
The employee died on the spot as a result of severe injuries. The deceased has been identified as Sampath (26) from the Siddipet district.
