Congress leader Rahul Gandhi began the tenth-day of his Bharat Jodo yatra from Puthiyakavu Junction near Karunagappally. Thousand of workers and people accompanied him. He started the yatra at 6.00 AM on Saturday. According to the schedule, he will cover a distance of 12 KM and enter the Alapuzzha district.
Thereafter take a break for sometime at Kayamkulam at around 11. 00 AM . The march will resume at 5.00 PM and conclude after walking for 8 KM. Then, Rahul Gandhi will address a meeting in Cheppad.
Senior Congress leaders Kodikkunnil Suresh, K Muraleedharan, K C Venugopal and Leader of Opposition in state Assembly V D Satheesan are accompanying Gandhi.

Earlier on Friday, Rahul Gandhi met the spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi in her ashram in Vallikavu.
