Bharat Jain is known to be the wealthiest and the world’s richest beggar. Jain has accumulated a net worth of Rs.7.5 crores ($1 million).

Bharat Jain reportedly has two properties in Mumbai that are valued at Rs.1.4 crore. He also purchased two stores in Thane. He will get a monthly rental income of Rs.30,000.

World’s Richest Beggar

In Mumbai, Bharat Jain can seen begging in Azad Maidan or Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Despite his humble beginnings, Jain has accumulated a net worth of Rs.7.5 crore. His monthly earnings from begging range between Rs.60,000 and 75,000. He manages to collect a staggering Rs.2000-2500 per day. Within a span of 10 to 12 hours.

According to news reports, Bharat turned to begging due to financial problems and didn’t have a formal education. Bharat Jain is a married man with a family that includes his wife, two sons, his brother, and his father. But now he sends his children to a convent school. Bharat Jain and his family live comfortably in a 1BHK duplex residence in Parel. His family members run a stationery store as an alternative source of income.
