Police have finally obtained some significant evidence in the murder case of Shraddha Walkar. Shraddha’s father’s DNA matched the bones found in a jungle in Delhi’s Mehrauli area by alleged killer Aaftab Poonawala.

According to the test report, blood traces found in their flat also match hers, which was conducted using DNA samples from her father.

Poonawala was arrested by police last month and is currently held in Tihar jail. Based on the fact that he murdered his live-in partner and chopped her body into 35 pieces. He appeared in court via video conferencing on Friday, and his judicial custody was extended for 14 days.

Aftab’s narco test was conducted earlier on December 1, and it was reportedly accepted that he murdered his girlfriend. He also made clear where he had dumped Shraddha’s clothes during the test.
