Maharashtra Farmer receives  15 lakh rupees

A happy man, Gyaneshwar felt that all his dreams came true because of the money he received. He withdrew Rs. 9 Lakh from his Bank of Baroda account and built a house.

Unfortunately, six months later, Gyaneshwar Ote, a native of Paithan taluka in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, realised that his dreams crashed. One day, his bank sent him a notice that the amount deposited in his account was by mistake. Moreover, the bank asked him to return the money immediately.

As per the reports of India Today, the money was allocated to Pimpalwadi gram panchayat for its development. However, the money meant for its development was mistakenly deposited in the account of Gyaneshwar Ote.

Sadly, Gyaneshwar Ote spent the money to build a house, as he thought that PM Modi kept his promise. Meanwhile, he repaid the balance of Rs. 6 lakh, which he still had in his account. However, he is yet to repay Rs. 9 Lakh that he spent on building his house.
