Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao announced that the lockdown extended till May 7 in Telangana and the night curfew continues. He informed that there would be an alternate ministerial meeting on May 5 for further decisions to be taken.

With Current corona situations, at the cabinet meeting its decided for lockdown. He spoke to the media on Sunday. In quick he said that, “The central government has proposed relaxation from the 20th. Telangana remains focused. There is no free trade in the state except for necessities. Public health is important to us”.

No death of medicines and medical equipment

The number of cases in the country is doubling every eight days. Telangana is also under the control of Coronavirus. It is being observed that it is taking more than 10 days for the number of cases to double in Telangana. The number of people who die from the disease is 3.22 percent nationwide and 2.44 percent in Telangana.

Telangana is also very low in the death rate. Medical equipment for medical personnel is adequate. The medicines needed to control the disease are also sufficient.Cases are likely to decline after May 1st. All those who had come from abroad were discharged.


No gathering in religious places

Only home prayers for people of all religions. Everyone must follow rules. No Mass prayers allowed. Only three people are praying in the two famous mosques of Makkah and Jumma in Telangana, which is highly praised. Temples remains closed.

The temples like Tirupati, Srisailam, Vemulavada and Yadadri have been closed. Swiggy and Zomato are banned from delivering food from tomorrow.

Orders issued to Educational Institutions

He has also issued strict orders to educational institutions not to increase the school fees and also told them to charge only tuition fees for the academic year 2020-21. Students should not be charge extra fee other than tuition fee . They have to take monthly fees rather than term fees from the parents. If any institution didn’t follow the orders, then the parents can just give a complaint by dialing 100.

Request to house owners

The Chief Minister requested all the house owners to be cooperate and helpful. For the months of March, April and May house owners should not force their residents for rent. If any house owner forced their tenant then the tenant asked them to dial 100.

Marriage halls are not warehouses

No Marriages and functions after May 7th. 10-15 days marriage halls are for warehouses. Collectors will be notified. In containment ares lockdown will be very strict.

There would be no relaxation in Telangana. Till now over 50 thousand vehicles seized. The Chief Minister has requested the people not to come out of their houses.
