Kanam movie is beautifully written and directed by Shree Karthick and dialogues are written by Tharun Bhascker. It is produced by S.R Prakash babu and S.R Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures.
The plot revolves around Sharwanand, Ritu Varma, Amala Akkineni, and Nassar as the main roles of the film and Vennala Kishore and Priya Darshi as supporting roles, the cinematography was done by Sujith Sarang and the film was edited by Sreejith Sarang, music by Jakes Bijoy.
Kanam Movie Plot
A time travel movie filled with lots of emotions about how hardships make a huge impact on a person’s life. The movie is about three friends played by Sharwanand as Adhi, Vennala Kishore as Chaitanya and Priya Darshi as Seenu.
They meet Rangi Kutta Paul played by Nassar, to seek solutions for their personal problems. He is a who has a time travelling machine. Subsequently, Rangi accepts them to send 20 years back to their childhood in return for a favour.
An opportunity for three of them to lead a second life and change the circumstances and can lead a better life. Adhi who lost his mother and tries to forget her but the memories are vivid to him, he wants to move on from his mother’s loss but in vain.
The second one wants to focus on his studies more in the childhood so that he won’t end up like he is now as a real estate broker. The third one has the same intention of changing life. When the time travels back, Adhi can feel his mom and can have a meal made by mom. There is a twist in the end which makes the movie a special one.
Review
The movie is very heartwarming with a beautiful storyline and direction. Everything is on point. There are quite illogical moments in the film but except that everything seems to be perfect. A good feel movie which is bound with emotions, the time travelling and the twist are quite unexpected for the audience. The actor performed excellently, especially Amala Akkineni. It is a perfect comeback film for her and and her performance is one of the best.
The costumes in the film are good. In conclusion, time travelling movies in recent time have been interesting and evolving. However, a few technical aspects of the film should have been elaborated on . or should have explained in depth so it would make the film more interesting and there is a slow phase in the film which could have been a little faster.
