Journalist Rohit Sardana dies

Journalist Rohit Sardana dies an untimely death. He was 41. He died days after he was tested covid-19 positive. Rohit had a massive heart attack on Friday.

On April 24, Rohit tweeted that he tested corona positive. However, his RT-PCR tests were negative. Then he went for a CT scan as he ran a fever for a week. This scan confirmed that he was corona positive. Just a few days ago, Sardana tweeted that he felt better. But the heart attack on Friday proved fatal.

Rohit Sardana joined Aaj Tak in 2017. Earlier, he worked for Zee News. He anchored a prime time program ‘Taal Thok Ke’. At Aaj Tak he anchored an evening show, ‘Dangal’ . Sardana was the recipient of the 2018 Ganesh Vidyayarthi puraskar award in 2018.

President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several political leaders and journalist condoled his death.
