Hyderabad likely to receive heavy rain, IMD issued a yellow alert

IMD had issued Yellow and Orange alert warnings for Hyderabad and neighborhood areas as heavy rains in the city. The weather forecast indicates that the city will likely experience light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers. GHMC advises people to avoid taking shelter under trees and stay indoors if possible out come out unnecessarily.

GHMC and the people of Hyderabad are afraid of waterlogging and traffic jams near junctions. This alert comes as a carrying-on of the intermittent rains that have been in the city since Sunday.

IMD has issued an orange alert for several districts, including Mancherial, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and Wanaparthi for Monday.
