International departures are refurbished at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) and will from effective 28th November 2022, 13:00 hrs onwards. It is now made more comfortable, easy and fast for operations.
RGIA is the only international airport in the nation that offers paperless e-boarding for all incoming and outgoing passengers.
Now it is passenger-friendly advanced technological features like individual carrier system (ICS), Wi-Fi 6 and self-baggage drop (SBD) kiosks.
The wings of the Telangana state bird, the Indian roller bird, or pala pitta, were the design’s inspiration, according to airport authorities.
